Check out our write up in the November Smiley Pete Publications:
On Wednesday November 9th, We went over to Woodford Reserve Distillery and toured, tasted and selected two barrels of bourbon with master distiller, Chris Morris. They are in the process of bottling them for us. When they arrive at the store, we will offer a flight of traditional Woodford Reserve, and our two barrel picks… they’ll be bottled and we’ll announce when we have them in store!
Thanks Allan Papp and Darioush… We unveiled the newest table addition after the event!
On Wednesday August 10th, we went to Buffalo Trace Distillery to select our first barrel of bourbon. We had a private tour, then tasted through four different barrels to make our final decision, and then had a wonderful bbq lunch at the distillery. It was a great day, and another milestone in this journey of our bourbon offerings! A special thank you to our friends at Buffalo Trace, who made this experience so special (Freddy for our amazing tour and historical overview and to Beau Beckman, the barrel select manager), to Tim Knittel (Distilled Living), who accompanied us on this journey, to all the folks at RNDC who helped set this up for us, and in particular; Casey Cline, Nelson Smith and our dear friend Cyndi Gatterdam.
By popular request, I am posting Round Pond’s recipe for their Meyer Lemon Olive Oil Cake. We will be carrying the olive oils and the artisan syrups from Round Pond that are needed to make the recipes.

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the Taste of the Bluegrass on Friday night, May 20th. All proceeds went to an extremely worthy cause; God’s Pantry. We always enjoy being a part of that event.
