May 2020 Wine Club Wines

Black Stallion – Sauvignon Blanc – California > Napa Valley. Opens with vibrant, tropical aromas of guava, lemongrass and honeysuckle. Flavors of lime, lemon and tropical fruit compliment the bright acidity and refreshing finish.

Milbrandt Vineyards – Brothers Blend – Washington > Columbia Valley. Seven grapes go into this tasty field blend: Merlot, Cab, Grenache, Syrah, Cab Franc and Malbec. Lots of dark berry flavors, dense cocoa, vanilla and a hint of spice.

King Estate – Inscription Pinot Noir – Oregon > Willamette Valley. Delivers fresh red fruit flavors like raspberry and strawberry along with definitive Oregon flavors of mushroom, forest floor and earth. Rich and well-built with oak nuances from aging in French oak.

May’s “If You Insist” Wine Club:

2015 Pine Ridge Vineyards – Cabernet Sauvignon

Mostly Cab with a touch of Petit Verdot and Cab Franc.

Raspberry and blueberry aromas with a palate of cherries, cassis, vanilla cream and spice plus an ending sweet note.
