August 2020 Wine Club Wines

Masciarelli – Villa Gemma Bianco – Italy > Abruzzo. From the mountainous region of Abruzzo this Italian white wine is made from the Trebbiano grape. It has intense flavors of peaches, yellow apples and bananas with aromas of white flowers and jasmine.

Joseph Drouhin – Bourgogne Pinot Noir – France > Burgundy. The nose is rich with aromas of raspberry, red currants. wild strawberry and earthy vineyard. This delicious wine if full of charm with light tannins, fruity and refreshing. Uber food friendly!

Tommasi – Rafael Valpolicella – Italy > Veneto. Three grapes: Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara are blended to make Valpolicella – which is a red wine made in the province of Verona in northeastern Italy. Aromas of dried spices, leather and cherry with flavors of red and black fruits along with notes of sage and mint.

Intense aromas and flavors of blackberry, red and black cherries with sweet spice, floral and mineral notes.

Has a big, round palate with smooth tannins, balance and a long, flavorful finish.
