July 2021 Wine Club Wines

Here’s a quick look at your July wines:

Maison L’Envoye – Straight Shooter Chardonnay – Oregon > Willamette Valley. The nose is ripe with apple and fresh pear that is complimented by juicy meyer lemon and a kiss of French oak. Loads of fresh citrus on the palate with a touch of honey.

Robert Oatley – Grenache – Australia > McLaren Vale. A vibrant, perfumed Grenache with classic raspberry and earthy notes. No oak aging makes this similar in weight and body to a young Pinot Noir. A perfect lighter style red for warm weather drinking.

Italo – Chianti Reserve – Italy > Tuscany. Mostly Sangiovese brings out an intense ruby red color with a spicy bouquet of violets, red fruits and cherries. Well balanced with smooth, fine grained tannins and perfect acidity.

July’s “If You Insist” Wine Club:
