March Wine Club Wines – even if you aren’t a wine club member (yet)!
March 8 @ 12:00 pm - March 9 @ 8:00 pm EST
We’ve got an outstanding trio of wines for you to try: a red and a white from Spain – plus a luscious Cab from the North Coast in California.
Monopole – Rioja Blanco – Spain. Made from the Viura grape variety. The aromas mimic the typical fruits of the Rioja region – apple, pear, white currants and spring flowers.
Cune – Crianza – Spain. Surprising aromas of red fruits in balance with vanilla and cocoa along with some caramel. Smooth mouthfeel with a long, fruity finish
Matthew Fritz – Cabernet Sauvignon – California > North Coast. Aromas of blackberry, spicy licorice and deep plum flavors. The palate combines dark fruits with brown spices and black salted olives. Firm tannins are balanced with good acidity.
We’ll also be pouring the “If You Insist” Wine Club: The 2012 Robert Biale EBA Petite Sirah from Napa Valley.
The “EBA” stands for “Extended Barrel Age” as this wine was aged for 20 months in wood casks. Wonderful blackberry & blueberry fruit with a lush mouthfeel.
The Weekend Special is available today and Saturday from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
