Welcome to all the new Wine Club members who’ve joined us over the holidays. Your wines are ready for pickup anytime.
We’re kicking off our 11th year of Wine Club – so it’s a great time to join and try new wines from all over the world!
Biscaye Baie – Sauvignon Blanc – France > Cotes de Gascogne. Nose of white flowers, white peaches, pineapple, pear and citrus fruits. Fresh and crisp with a nice long finish. Enjoy this one with seafood dishes, creamy pasta or cheese.
Enrique Foster – Ique Malbec – Argentina > Mendoza. Reminiscent of fresh cherry and dark plum with a subtle touch of oak and spice. Young and fruity with balanced acidity. Excellent with chocolate!
Santa Rita – Medalla Real Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon – Chile > Maipo Valley. Rich nose full of blueberries, blackberries, dried figs and some soft spice notes. Rounded ripe tannins lead the wine into a creamy, dark fruit finish.
January’s “If You Insist” Wine Club:
2016 Lassegue – Saint Emilion Grand Cru
France > Bordeaux
Opulent and rich Cabernet Franc with an addition of dense Merlot and a touch of Cab.
Richly oaked and full-bodied it has an elegance with a long line of black-currant flavor.
Drink now or let it gain more complexity with some time.
