April 2020 Wine Club Wines

Albert Bichot – White Burgundy – France > Burgundy > Macon – Villages. The southern area of Burgundy has limestone rich soils and warmer temperatures that help create full bodied Chardonnay. This is a beautiful, crisp Chard with fruit and floral notes and a touch of minerality.

Arinzano Estate – Rose of Tempranillo – Spain > Navarra. If you’re familiar with the Rioja region in Spain – then Navarra is located just above and to the east. Tempranillo is the main grape for both regions and here we have a dry, Rose that has intense aromas of red fruits, citric notes with floral and white pepper. Perfect for the warming weather.

Alexander Valley Vineyards – Cabernet Sauvignon – California > Sonoma > Alexander Valley. Another one of our favorite wineries in Sonoma – this Cab shows cherry, cassis, blackberry and chocolate. It’s fruit forward with lush flavors, nice balance and a long, silky finish.
