December 2020 Wine Club Wines

The December Wine Club wines are all set and ready for pick up anytime. We’ve got four fantastic wines you can drink now . . or save one for a holiday meal coming up.

Our monthly Wine Club makes a great gift too!!!

Santi – Valpolicella – Italy > Veneto. Valpolicella is a red wine made from Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara – three grape varieties in the north-east region of Veneto. This shows intense aromas of ripe cherry, blackcurrant and blackberry followed by notes of cocoa and dried fruit.

Terre del Fico – Chianti – Italy > Tuscany. The bouquet hints of small red fruits with flowers and aromatic herbs. It’s full-bodied with nice smooth tannins. You can taste the red fruits typical of Sangiovese.

Frog’s Leap – Chardonnay – California > Napa Valley. Unlike the overbearing “sweet and oaky” California Chards this wine is pure and beautiful with flavors of crisp, fresh fruit, an elegant mouthfeel and zesty minerality. Perfect dinner wine!

December’s “If You Insist” Wine Club:

Cakebread Cellars – Two Creeks Vineyard Pinot Noir – California > Alexander Valley

Cherry and rose petal aromas with black and red fruit, plum and some minerality. Supple but complex tannins and a long finish.

Delicious now or age another 3 – 5 years for more complexity.
